The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has pledged to take strong and decisive action against cases of child molestation in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The FCT Commandant, Olusola Odumosu, made this known while speaking to journalists, stressing that the Corps would not tolerate any form of abuse against children.
He stated that the NSCDC is working closely with relevant agencies and community leaders to ensure perpetrators are identified, arrested, and prosecuted.
Odumosu urged parents and guardians to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities, assuring the public of the Corps’ commitment to protecting vulnerable children across the territory.
“We will not spare anyone found guilty of harming a child. The safety and dignity of every child in the FCT is a top priority,” he said.
