Speaking earlier, the Secretariat’s Permanent Secretary, Mrs. Nancy Sabanti-Nathan, said that it is a new dawn for FCT youth, as the current FCT Administration is prepared to invest in youth development.
She remarked that the FCT Minister has mandated the Secretariat to come up with projects and programmes that will be beneficial to FCT youth, which is one of the reasons for the ongoing consultative forum, enabling youths to make inputs in the planning process.
“This will enable the Secretariat to effectively address the needs of our youth. We have prioritized carrying out a robust Youth Needs Assessment, which will give us critical insights that shapes our policy decisions and programme aimed at updating the database of youth organizations that are registered with us for seamless communication of programmes and activities,” she added.
