The Federal Capital Territory College of Education (FCT COE), Zuba, has partnered with the World Bank-backed ACReSAL project to plant trees across 117 hectares.

A seven-member expert team from Agriculture, Geography, and Works departments will oversee the project.

ACReSAL’s Oladoja Toyin said the six-year initiative, running in 19 northern states and the FCT since 2022, aims to restore degraded land and boost climate resilience.

Under the slogan “Greening the Environment, Saving Lives,” ACReSAL will supply seedlings, cover labour costs, and ensure the trees remain the college’s property.
