Frequencie Urges Swift Action Against ‘One Chance’ Crimes in Abuja
Abuja-based Afropop artist Frequencie has called on the FCTA and the Federal Government to urgently tackle the surge in One Chance attacks in the capital.
He described the crime where criminals pose as drivers or passengers to rob or abduct commuters as a growing danger that must be addressed without delay.
Frequencie urged FCT Minister Nyesom Wike to strengthen security agencies and proposed mandatory registration for private vehicles used for commercial transport to help track offenders.
He also advocated for a more affordable and safe public transport system to reduce residents’ reliance on unregulated vehicles often used in such crimes.
With fear rising among Abuja residents, Frequencie joined the call for stronger government action to restore public confidence in the city’s transport system.
