As part of its broader mission to impact lives beyond entrepreneurship, the Women in Business (WIB) Fair has extended support to underprivileged women particularly the elderly through its humanitarian drive, the “Give Her” initiative.
The outreach event was aimed at addressing the needs of vulnerable women who are often overlooked in society. According to Ebiere Empere, Coordinator of the WIB Fair and CEO of Okads Seafood, the effort reflects the organization’s core belief that “charity and business can go hand in hand.”
Empere emphasized that the initiative underscores the group’s commitment to meaningful social impact, not just financial success.
“Elderly women are among the most neglected in our communities. With this initiative, we’re showing them they matter, they are seen, and they are valued,” she stated.
The “Give Her” initiative marks another step in WIB Fair’s growing role as a platform for both economic and social empowerment.
