Abuja, Nigeria – May 27, 2025
The World Trade Center (WTC) Abuja marked this year’s Children’s Day by welcoming students from Nigerian Tulip International Colleges to a special open-day event aimed at inspiring the next generation of global leaders.
The event featured a tour of the upcoming Clubhouse and a range of fun activities including virtual reality zones, swimming, table tennis, face painting, and more. The initiative, according to WTC Abuja Vice President Karim Ahmed, was designed to help children see beyond borders and begin to understand the opportunities within global commerce.
Beyond entertainment, students were introduced to the professional environment of WTC Abuja’s commercial towers, where they interacted with executives and observed international business operations.
Dr. David Opeyemi Oke, Head of Trade Services, announced a new mentorship programme for young adults and undergraduates, aimed at grooming future leaders in trade and investment.
WTC Abuja, a project by First Intercontinental Properties under Churchgate Group, is part of the World Trade Centers Association, connecting Nigeria to over 330 centres across 150 countries.
This initiative is part of WTC Abuja’s broader commitment to youth development and community engagement.
