The Federal Government says it has earned N650 million from the newly renovated International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja just three weeks after it reopened.
Dr. Adamu Biu, Managing Director of Integrated Facility Management Services Ltd, revealed this during a press briefing, noting that the quick revenue boost is a clear sign of the centre’s improved value.
According to him, the facelift and modern upgrades have made the ICC a prime venue for major events, with bookings pouring in since it resumed operations.
He added that under the new public-private partnership model, the ICC is now better positioned to contribute significantly to the FCT’s economy.
