The Apo-Wasa Road in the Federal Capital Territory will be closed to traffic tomorrow, June 13, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., to allow for the commissioning of a major road project by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a show of support, traders and mechanics at the Apo Mechanic Village have agreed to shut down operations for the day to welcome the President and attend the event. Their associations have instructed members to resume business on Saturday.

President Tinubu is scheduled to inaugurate the newly completed Left-Hand Service Carriageway of the Outer Southern Expressway (OSEX) Stage II stretching from Ring Road I to Wasa Junction—at 2:30 p.m.

Motorists are advised to take alternative routes during the road closure, as traffic enforcement officers will be on ground to assist and minimize disruptions.

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has appealed to the public for understanding and cooperation during this temporary road closure.
