African Tourism Leaders to Meet in Abuja

About 20 African Tourism Ministers will come to Abuja for an important meeting. The 68th UN Tourism Commission for Africa meeting will happen from June 11-13, 2025.

The meeting will focus on using new technology and AI to improve tourism in Africa. Around 300 people are expected to attend.

Ms. Elscia Grandcourt from the UN Tourism Commission shared this news while visiting Nigeria’s Tourism Minister, Hannatu Musawa.

The African Union’s Tourism Commissioner and representatives from international organizations will also join the meeting.

Ms. Grandcourt said they usually limit these events to between 300-350 people, including leaders from different regional groups.
