Abuja, March 14, 2025 – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday welcomed a delegation of Catholic Bishops of Nigeria at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, to discuss matters of national interest, unity, and religious harmony.

The meeting, held in the State House, saw the Catholic Bishops led by top clerics engage with the President on the role of the church in nation-building. “Nigeria is a nation of diverse cultures and beliefs, and it is only through unity and mutual understanding that we can progress. My administration remains dedicated to working closely with all religious groups to build a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria,” Tinubu stated.

The Catholic Bishops, in their address, urged the government to continue championing good governance, justice, and security for all citizens. They also called for inclusive policies that cater to the welfare of all Nigerians, irrespective of religious or ethnic affiliations.
