The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has recovered abandoned vehicles suspected of being linked to criminal activity near the Central Police Station.
The operation, carried out on Monday, followed credible intelligence from residents who reported the unattended vehicles.
According to Police spokesperson SP Josephine Adeh, officers secured a grey Honda Civic (YAB 837 TA), a grey Toyota Sienna LE (ABJ 75 JR), and an unregistered orange Coaster bus.
FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Ajao Adewale, praised the public’s vigilance, noting that such cooperation is vital to maintaining safety in the territory.
The command has urged anyone who owns a vehicle matching the descriptions to visit the Police Headquarters with valid documents for verification and retrieval.
Authorities say the successful recovery highlights the value of community-police collaboration in tackling crime across Abuja.
