The National Association of Aircraft Pilots and Engineers (NAAPE) has appealed to the NCAA to reverse the suspension of a ValueJet captain and first officer involved in an August 5 confrontation with Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde (K1 De Ultimate) at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
NAAPE claims the sanctions are unfair, insisting the incident stemmed from the musician’s alleged disregard for security protocols.
The association noted the crew’s spotless record and called on ValueJet to support them, urging the NCAA to conduct a fair investigation. Passengers were reminded that safety remains paramount and unruly behaviour at airports will not be tolerated.
