FCT Minister of State, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, has reaffirmed the Administration’s commitment to improving healthcare through modern infrastructure, workforce development, and stronger collaboration among professionals.
Speaking at the first summit of the Dental Technologists Registration Board of Nigeria in Abuja, she stressed the rising importance of dental technologists and urged practitioners to adopt digitization, AI, standardized training, and local production of dental materials to reduce imports.
She called for more research and actionable policy ideas to boost standards. Registrar Malam Idris Bappah said the summit aims to tackle challenges and strengthen the profession’s human capacity.
