FCT Minister of State Dr Mariya Mahmoud has asked Christian pilgrims going on the 2025 Easter trip to Israel and Jordan to pray for Nigeria and use the journey to deepen their faith.
She spoke at the pre-departure orientation in Abuja, where she promised that the FCT Administration, under Barr. Nyesom Wike will look after their welfare. She also praised the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission for its role in planning the exercise.
Director of the FCT Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Gloria Dandam, reminded the pilgrims that the trip is more than travel. She said it is a sacred journey that should strengthen their faith and their unity. She urged them to pray for peace at home and across the world.
