Abuja was thrown into shock on Sunday after Yunusa Ahmadu Yusuf, better known as Buhun Barkonun, died suddenly in a hotel room in the Karu-Jikwoyi area.
The 47-year-old, who was a Senior Special Assistant on Community Development to AMAC Chairman, Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, reportedly lodged in the hotel with a woman. Witnesses said he drank heavily but refused food.
He later collapsed after taking an energy drink and was rushed to hospital, where doctors confirmed him dead on arrival.
Police say investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of death.
