The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command is investigating the death of Mr. Ik Ojo, who was discovered hanging in his home in Kagini, Dei-Dei, Abuja, on Friday.
A viral video showed locals raising suspicions of foul play, claiming Ojo’s death might have been a murder disguised as suicide. Police spokesperson Josephine Adeh confirmed that Dei-Dei Division officers rushed to the scene, moving Ojo to Kubwa General Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
His body is now at the hospital mortuary for an autopsy. The FCT Police Commissioner has ordered a thorough but discreet investigation to determine the facts of the incident.
