The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has announced a nationwide sensitisation exercise, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), to promote awareness of key government programmes and strengthen citizen engagement.
Director-General Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, represented by Director of Finance and Accounts, Mallam Sule Haruna, disclosed this on August 27, 2025, at the NOA FCT Directorate in Abuja.
He said the campaign will cover all 36 states and the FCT, targeting one million people per state through town halls, rallies, media outreach, and community engagement.
The initiative will focus on five areas: the National Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), expanded Social Safety Net schemes, the National Youth Investment Fund, the Artisanal Fund, and the Renewed Hope Infrastructural Fund. Other themes include flood disaster management, security awareness, and national values reorientation.
Issa-Onilu added that NOA has upgraded its platforms, including an AI system called CLHEEAN, and partnered with 180 media organisations to expand its reach.
