The Outdoor Advertising Association of Nigeria (OAAN) has met with the FCT Department of Outdoor Advertising and Signage (DOAS) to address the rising spread of billboards in the capital city.
OAAN President Sola Akinsiku stated that the association is committed to restoring order in the industry and expressed confidence in DOAS’s ability to enforce regulations. Members also pledged to comply with existing guidelines.
DOAS Acting Director, Fatima Amanabo, welcomed the collaboration, assuring that stricter enforcement will ensure all billboard installations follow approved standards.
Both bodies agreed to work together to preserve the city’s visual appeal and bring sanity to outdoor advertising.
