J-Krue Entertainment will stage the first-ever Abuja Yoruba Fest on August 29 at Zagaleta, Wuse 2.

The event kicks off at 5:00 PM with a red carpet before an evening of Yoruba-inspired music, dance, fashion, and storytelling.

Guests will be welcomed with a red carpet reception before immersing in an evening of Yoruba-inspired music, dance, storytelling, and fashion. The lineup will feature energetic percussion ensembles, ceremonial displays, and contemporary reinterpretations of Yoruba heritage designed to appeal to both young and older audiences.

Event organizers say the festival is not only a celebration of Yoruba identity but also a platform to promote cultural unity in the capital. “Our vision is to create a unifying platform that celebrates Nigeria’s cultural wealth,” J-Krue stated, stressing inclusivity for participants from all backgrounds.

To cater to different guests, ticketing offers a standard entry option and five premium categories: Baba Nla, OBO, City Boy, Idan, and Jagaban. Each VIP tier includes enhanced amenities, dedicated sections, and exclusive access to special experiences.

The Abuja Yoruba Fest promises to blend cultural preservation with modern artistic innovation, delivering a one-of-a-kind experience for attendees. Organizers say the festival will set a benchmark for future cultural showcases in the city.
