FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has appealed to the National Assembly for access to the Natural Resources Development Fund (NRDF) to complete vital projects in Abuja.
During a meeting with RMAFC’s chairman, Wike argued that the FCT deserves a share of the 1.68% national revenue allocation, like every state. He said the funds would support agriculture, tourism, solid minerals, and infrastructure key to the federal government’s diversification drive.
He noted that the move aligns with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and would help revive stalled projects and boost Abuja’s economy. The proposal is now before the National Assembly.
