A Ghanaian woman has died following a suspected “one-chance” robbery attack in Abuja, highlighting growing concerns over rising insecurity in the nation’s capital.

According to eyewitnesses, the woman was pushed out of a moving vehicle by suspected robbers posing as commercial drivers. She was later found unconscious along the roadside and rushed to the hospital, where she was confirmed dead.

The tragic incident is one of many linked to the notorious “one-chance” syndicates, who lure unsuspecting passengers into their vehicles, rob them, and often leave them injured or worse.

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has launched an investigation and urged residents to avoid unregistered vehicles and report any suspicious activity.

The incident has sparked renewed calls for the government and security agencies to urgently tackle the growing threat of “one-chance” crimes in Abuja.
