The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has received a modern containerised armory donated by the Mines Advisory Group (MAG) International. This marks a big step forward in how weapons are stored and managed in Abuja.

The armory was officially handed over during a ceremony at the FCT Police Headquarters. It was built to meet international safety standards and improve arms management.

According to Police spokesperson SP Josephine Adeh, the facility is designed to stop unauthorized access, prevent accidental discharges, and ensure proper handling of weapons. This will help boost public safety and national security.

Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun—represented by AIG Isyaku Mohammed—thanked MAG International for the donation. He said the new armory will help the police manage weapons more professionally and transparently.

FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Ajao Saka Adewale, also praised the support and promised that the Command would maintain high standards in handling arms.

This partnership with MAG International is part of efforts to modernize police facilities and improve safety in Nigerian communities.
