
Hotel Guest Discovered Deceased in Gwarinpa After Companion Disappears
Authorities have identified the deceased as Aladi Offikwu Johnson, nicknamed Tessy, whose body was recovered from a lodging facility on 3rd Avenue, Gwarinpa, subsequent to her arrival with an unknown male guest the previous evening.
Witness reports indicate that hospitality workers encountered a locked door on Tuesday morning when attempting routine checks.
Following unsuccessful attempts to gain entry through knocking, personnel breached the door and discovered the deceased with restrained wrists and fabric obstructing her airways.
Law enforcement officials were summoned and transferred the remains to mortuary facilities for examination.
SP Adeh Josephine, representing the FCT Police Command, acknowledged the occurrence and revealed that early findings show the male guest had exited the establishment without his companion.
Hospital staff confirmed the woman’s death upon examination.
Police Commissioner CP Ajao Saka Adewale has requested public patience during the ongoing investigation period.
