The Chairman of Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), Hon. Christopher Zakka Maikalangu, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s leadership as Nigeria celebrates 26 years of continuous democratic governance.
In a Democracy Day statement on Wednesday, Maikalangu commended Tinubu for strengthening democratic institutions, upholding the rule of law, and delivering development dividends to Nigerians. He described the President as someone who has been integral to Nigeria’s democratic journey from its inception.
The AMAC boss highlighted Tinubu’s inclusive leadership approach, noting his administration’s commitment to listening to minority voices and encouraging constructive criticism. He urged Nigerians to support the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Maikalangu also praised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for his collaboration with the President in transforming Abuja through major infrastructure projects, describing the capital as experiencing “massive infrastructural upgrades.”
Reaffirming his commitment to grassroots development, the AMAC chairman assured residents of continued efforts to provide essential services across all communities. As the local APC leader, he called for party unity ahead of future elections to sustain the administration’s progress.
