FRSC Deploys Personnel Patrol Assets Nationwide for Eid-el-Kabir Safety

Abuja – June 4, 2025

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has announced a nationwide deployment of 36,000 personnel and 1,095 patrol assets to ensure safe and smooth traffic flow during the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

According to the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, the special operations will begin on Thursday and continue through June 11. The deployment includes 750 patrol vehicles, 120 ambulances, 25 tow trucks, and over 200 motorcycles.

Mohammed urged motorists to strictly adhere to traffic rules and cooperate with FRSC officials and other security agencies throughout the festive period.

He also issued a stern warning to traffic violators, noting that mobile courts will be set up across the country to enable swift prosecution of offenders.

The corps emphasized that this large-scale operation is part of its efforts to reduce road crashes and ensure a smooth travel experience for Nigerians celebrating the Muslim holiday.

“Our aim is to guarantee a safe, peaceful, and enjoyable Eid-el-Kabir celebration for all road users,” the corps marshal said.
