The Federal Government has declared Friday, June 14, and Monday, June 17, 2025, as public holidays to mark this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
The announcement was made by the Minister of Interior, who congratulated Muslims across the country and urged them to reflect on the values of peace, sacrifice, and unity that the festival represents.
He also called on Nigerians to continue promoting love, tolerance, and national cohesion.
The government wished all citizens a happy and safe celebration.
