The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has sealed the Total Petrol Station located in Zone 3, Abuja, following the revocation of its land title due to non-payment of ground rent.
According to officials, the station failed to meet its financial obligations to the FCT for an extended period, prompting the administration to revoke its land rights and take enforcement action.
The move is part of the FCTA’s ongoing efforts to recover outstanding ground rents and enforce compliance with land use regulations.
Residents and business operators are being reminded of the importance of fulfilling all statutory land related payments to avoid similar sanctions.
The FCTA has stated that more defaulters will be targeted in the coming weeks as the revenue recovery drive continues across the Federal Capital Territory.
