The long-awaited Mabushi and Kugbo Bus Terminals in Abuja have been completed and are now ready for operation. In a move to personally assess the state of the facilities, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, paid a visit to both terminals earlier today.

The visit comes as part of the FCT Administration’s broader commitment to improving the public transportation system in the capital city. These new terminals are expected to ease traffic congestion, enhance the commuting experience, and promote organized and safer travel for residents.

Speaking during the inspection, the Minister expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done and emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards as Abuja continues to grow. The terminals are strategically located to serve major transit routes — Mabushi on the city’s northern axis and Kugbo towards the eastern entry corridor.

With these projects now completed, commuters can look forward to a more convenient and efficient transportation network within the FCT. The official commissioning and public opening dates are expected to be announced soon.
