The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has announced the construction of an entrepreneurship development centre designed to equip secondary school students with practical skills and a business-oriented mindset.

Dr. Mohammed Ladan, Director of the FCT Secondary Education Board, disclosed the initiative on Monday during a teacher training workshop on innovation and entrepreneurship education held in Abuja.

The facility, located at Government Secondary School, Giri, is expected to be completed before the end of the year. It is being developed in partnership with Brunel University Business School, UK, which has committed to fully furnish and equip the centre upon completion.

According to Dr. Ladan, the centre will serve not just Abuja but all 36 states and the FCT, providing a national hub for entrepreneurship education aimed at fostering self-reliance and creativity among Nigerian youths.
