
Abubakar disclosed that the constant deployment of hunters into known hideouts has helped curb the wave of abductions across the council. According to him, the service has been thoroughly combing the hinterlands and thick forests, making it increasingly difficult for criminals to operate.
Equipped with motorcycles and locally made firearms, the hunters conduct relentless day and night patrols to prevent kidnappers from regrouping. Abubakar recalled that his team successfully dislodged criminals from two notorious hideouts near surrounding villages.
He further emphasized that the service is maintaining strong collaboration with other security agencies to sustain the pressure against criminal activities.
