The Chief of Staff to the FCT Minister, Mr. Chidi Amadi, has asked Information Officers in the FCT Administration to improve their efforts in sharing information about Minister Nyesom Wike’s activities and achievements.
During a Tuesday meeting with the Information and Communication Department in Abuja, Amadi stressed that Information Officers play a vital role in promoting the administration’s policies and successes. He urged them to take ownership of the communication strategy.
Amadi highlighted several achievements under Wike’s leadership, including:
- Major improvements in road construction
- Progress in education
- Better transportation systems
- Enhanced healthcare services, especially primary healthcare
- Significant infrastructure development throughout the FCT
The Chief of Staff encouraged Information Officers to better engage with residents by effectively communicating these achievements to the public.
In response, Muhammad Hazat Sule, Director of Information and Communication, assured Amadi that the department has capable professionals committed to their duties. Sule requested help resolving promotion issues for senior officers who are eligible to become Directors.
Key accomplishments of Wike’s administration include completing previously abandoned road projects, advancing education, improving transportation and healthcare services, and enhancing security across the Federal Capital Territory.
