Vice President Kashim Shettima has returned to Abuja after a one-day official visit to Dakar, Senegal, where he represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the 65th Independence Anniversary celebration of the West African nation.
During his stay in Dakar, Vice President Shettima participated in a series of official activities marking the national event. He notably attended a grand parade held at Mamadou Dia Boulevard, which was presided over by Senegal’s new President, Bassirou Diomaye Faye.
The visit underscores Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and regional solidarity within West Africa.
