

In a significant shake-up of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has dismissed Mele Kyari as the Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) and dissolved the board of the company. The President has appointed Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari as the new GCEO and Ahmadu Musa Kida as the non-executive chairman.
The decision, announced from the presidency, marks a strategic move in Tinubu’s administration to reposition the NNPCL and enhance transparency and efficiency in the country’s oil and gas sector.
