Civil Defence Gets Ultramodern Office In Bwari

To fight crime and criminalities in Bwari and its environs, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has launched an Ultramodern office complex in Bwari, Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

Accordingly, it is part of efforts to enhance security of lives and property in the area, due to the nefarious activities of men of the underworld.

The Commandant-General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Abubakar Ahmed Audi, who commissioned the Ultramodern office complex, announced the deployment of additional personnel to the Bwari Area Council.

Audi reaffirmed the commitment of the Corps to work towards the full realization of the goals of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’.

The Commandant-General emphasized the need to rid Abuja of kidnapping and other criminal activities and that his organization is poised to achieve just that.

He commended the Bwari Area Council Chairman, John Gabaya, for providing a conducive office space; stating that such support is crucial in ensuring that NSCDC officers perform their duties effectively.

Welcoming guests to the occasion, the Bwari Area Council Chairman, John Gabaya, explained that his administration has decided to put security on the front burner, due to past challenges faced by the residents of the area.

He stressed that the construction of the new office was aimed at supporting the NSCDC in safeguarding lives and property.

The Chairman assured that the Council would continue to provide necessary support and logistics to the Security Agencies to maintain peace and security in Bwari.
