The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has entered into partnership with Zeberced Group to develop Industrial Parks and Innovation Hubs in Abuja.
FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, who disclosed this on Thursday when he played host to the management of the company in his office, assured that the move would enhance industrial growth and economic development in the FCT.
Emphasizing that the collaboration was in line with President Tinubu’s vision to diversify the economy and reduce dependency on oil, Wike said: “This is expected to create thousands of jobs and stimulate economic activities in Abuja.”
He continued: “Our goal is to empower local industries and create an environment that nurtures innovation and productivity, and we believe that this partnership will foster a resilient economy.”
In a related development, the Minister said that the ongoing Abuja Business and Investments Summit would strengthen potentials for collaborations with Istanbul in areas like housing, roads, and energy.
Earlier, Managing Director, Zeberced Group, Adil Kurt, said that his company would leverage its technology and experience to support local businesses and entrepreneurs in the FCT and Nigeria.
“By working closely with the FCTA, we aim to position Abuja as a leading industrial hub in Nigeria,” he pledged.
