The Coordinator of the Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC), Felix Amechi Obuah, has enjoined all Departments under the Council to ensure that their actions and activities should be guided only by national interest.
The Coordinator gave this charge while receiving briefs from Departments under the AMMC in his office in Zone 6, Wuse I District, Abuja.
The Coordinator also met with top management staff of Abuja Environmental Protection Board (AEPB) and Department of Outdoor Advertisement and Signages, to fine-tune strategies on how to serve the residents better.
The Coordinator thanked all the management staff – especially the Directors, for their prompt response to the brief; saying it is a “Service to God and Humanity”.
He reiterated that AMMC under his watch will be for the National Interest; assuring that he will work with everyone to move AMMC and indeed, the FCT forward.
Obuah solicited for the support of all staff for him to succeed in his duty as the Coordinator of AMMC.
In a brief remark at the occasion, the Senior Special Assistant to the Minister of FCT on Environment, Dr. Fred Kpakol, appealed for the cooperation and full support of all staff to the Coordinator; adding that he had known and worked with the Coordinator for several years and he is hardworking, transparent and an achiever.
