Nigeria’s leading airline, Air Peace, has announced plans to commence direct flights from Abuja to both Heathrow and Gatwick airports in London starting October 26, 2025.

The carrier revealed that the new international route will be operated using its Boeing 777 fleet, representing a major boost to air travel between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

“This development positions Air Peace as the first Nigerian airline to offer direct services from Abuja to London’s two primary airports,” the airline said in an official release.

The airline also confirmed that passengers traveling on any of its domestic routes can conveniently connect to London via Abuja on a single ticket, eliminating the need for multiple bookings or baggage re-checks.

For return trips, London-based travelers will enjoy smooth onward connections to major Nigerian cities such as Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Owerri, Kano, and Asaba, using the Abuja hub.

Air Peace is offering promotional round-trip fares starting from ₦1 million, alongside attractive baggage allowances for international flyers.
