Nigeria is set to host a high-level strategic dialogue with Brazil in Abuja, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across key sectors.
The upcoming engagement, expected to take place later this month, will bring together top government officials, diplomats, and representatives from both countries to discuss trade, investment, defence, energy, agriculture, and education.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the dialogue is part of a broader effort to deepen Nigeria’s ties with strategic global partners and explore mutually beneficial development initiatives.
Officials say the meeting will also focus on improving South-South cooperation and fostering joint action on climate change, food security, and technology transfer.
Nigeria and Brazil have long-standing diplomatic relations, but officials believe this renewed strategic approach will revitalize dormant agreements and open new pathways for sustainable growth.
Details on the date and delegation lineups are expected to be announced in the coming days
