Customs College Abuja Inaugurates Students for Junior Course 22

The Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College, Gwagwalada, Abuja, has officially inaugurated 50 students into its Junior Course 22 program.

The inauguration marks the beginning of an intensive training designed to enhance the professional competence and leadership capacity of junior officers within the Nigeria Customs Service.

The college management emphasized the importance of the course in preparing officers for greater responsibilities in line with the service’s modernization and reform agenda.

The Commandant of the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College, Assistant Comptroller-General Oluyomi Adebakin, has stressed the significance of professional training in addressing both national and global challenges facing the Customs Service.

Speaking during the inauguration of Junior Course 22 in Gwagwalada, Abuja, Adebakin reaffirmed the college’s dedication to offering quality mentorship, resources, and a conducive learning environment to help officers thrive.

“The prestigious Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College has consistently produced capable middle-level officers who advance the Service’s objectives across various commands. The Junior Course remains one of our flagship programmes, designed to prepare officers for greater responsibilities,” she said.
