As preparations heighten for this year’s Eid-el-Kabir celebration, the Committee of FCT Imams Initiative (CFII) has released an official schedule for Eid prayers across 59 designated locations within the Federal Capital Territory.
The comprehensive timetable is aimed at ensuring smooth coordination of the annual Islamic festival and fostering communal harmony during the significant religious observance. The listed prayer grounds cover major districts and communities within Abuja, allowing Muslim faithful across the city easy access to join the Eid congregational prayers.
The Imams Council advised worshippers to verify the specific prayer time for their area and make necessary arrangements to arrive early. Doing so will enable them to fully participate in the Takbir, the Eid sermon, and the special Eid prayer.
In addition to releasing the schedule through local mosques and Islamic centers, the prayer times have also been shared via community platforms and official social media channels for broader public awareness.
Worshippers are urged to maintain order, observe cleanliness, and follow safety directives at all designated prayer grounds. Authorities are also expected to provide security and traffic support to ensure a smooth and peaceful celebration.
