
The Bwari Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory has said that the welfare of its staff will be a top priority, even as their salaries and wages will be paid promptly.
The Chairman, Bwari Area Council, John Gabaya, gave this assurance, while commissioning an Administrative Block in the Local Education Authority in Bwari.
“All the wages and salaries of staff in the Area Council will be promptly paid to further motivate workforce to enable them give in their best in the service of the Area Council,” he reiterated.
The Chairman emphasized that conducive working environment will also be provided as it will go a long way to not only motivate the staff but will also make them more productive with quality and efficient service delivery.
Gabaya promised that the offices will be fully equipped with modern befitting furniture.
The Chairman said that he will continue to ensure there will be no more backlog of staff salaries so long there are availability of resources and funds for payment.
In his remarks, the Council Secretary, Elia Peter Kadanya thanked the Chairman of Bwari Area Council, John Gabaya for the completion of the office as promised.
He commended the Executive Secretary of Education of the Council for the synergy enjoyed by the staff of the council.
Also speaking at the occasion, the Speaker of the Legislative Arm of the Bwari Area Council, Dogara Ahmed Yerima, assured that there will be mutual working relationship between the Executive and Legislative arms for the overall success of the Council.
