MultiChoice Nigeria has announced an upcoming adjustment to the subscription rates for its DStv and GOtv packages, set to take effect on March 1, 2025. This development comes nearly a year after the last price review by the company.
In a communication to its customers, MultiChoice stated: “Dear Customer, please note that effective 1 March 2025, there will be a price adjustment on all DStv packages. DStv Packages:
- Premium: From N37,000 to N44,500
- Compact Plus: From N25,000 to N30,000
- Compact: From N15,700 to N19,000
GOtv Packages:
- GOtv Supa Plus: From N15,700 to N16,800
- GOtv Supa: From N9,600 to N11,400
- GOtv Max: From N5,700 to N8,500
- GOtv Plus: From N4,850 to N5,800
- GOtv Jolli: From N3,600 to N3,900
MultiChoice attributes this price increase to the escalating costs of business operations in Nigeria, citing factors such as currency depreciation and high inflation rates. The company emphasizes that the adjustment is necessary to maintain the quality of its content offerings and technological infrastructure.
