
The Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, has commiserated with the Ona of Abaji, His Royal Majesty Dr. Adamu Baba Yunusa, following the death of his wife, Hajiya Hadiza Adamu Baba.
In a condolence message, Dr. Mahmoud described the passing of Hajiya Hadiza as a painful loss. She stated it was an irreplaceable loss. She extended her sympathies to the royal family and the people of Abaji.
She paid glowing tribute to the deceased. She recalled her legacy of compassion, dignity, and steadfast support to the throne. She noted that these virtues would remain cherished by all who knew her.
Part of her message reads: “The Federal Capital Territory Administration extends heartfelt condolences to Your Royal Majesty. My family and I offer our sympathy to the Royal Family and the entire people of Abaji. The death of a wife is an irreplaceable loss, and I can only imagine the grief this tragedy has brought. Her legacy of compassion, dignity, and support to the throne will forever be remembered. I pray Almighty Allah grants her Aljannah Firdaus. He give you and the family the fortitude to bear this painful loss.”
The Minister reaffirmed her commitment to stand in solidarity with the royal household. She prayed for strength and comfort for the family during this period of mourning.
