The FCT Police Command has arrested 523 suspects, recovered six rifles, 48 rounds of ammunition, and 13 stolen vehicles, and rescued three kidnap victims in Abuja security operations.
Commissioner of Police, CP Ajao S. Adewale, disclosed this after a strategy meeting with senior officers on September 25, 2025.
He praised the Anti-Kidnapping Unit for foiling abductions in Gwagwalada and Karu, and commended the RRS, Scorpion Squad, and divisional teams for their proactive operations.
The CP warned against extortion and unauthorised roadblocks while urging residents to support security efforts with credible tips via 08061581938, 08032003913, and 08107314192.
Adewale assured that the Command is committed to safeguarding lives and property as Abuja prepares for Independence Day celebrations.
