President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the construction of two 300-capacity hostels for the Nigerian Law School, Abuja, along with a road linking the Body of Benchers Secretariat in Jabi District to Nile University. The projects are aimed at improving student accommodation and easing traffic congestion in the area.

According to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, the projects will be executed under emergency consideration. Lere Olayinka, the Minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, said one 300-bed female hostel and a 300-bed male hostel will be constructed within the Nigerian Law School campus to address accommodation shortages for students.

Olayinka added that the new road will help reduce traffic congestion along the route leading to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) head office.
