
The FCT Education Resource Centre has concluded the 12th edition of its holiday literacy scheme, BEARHUG, themed “Leveraging ICT for Better Learning Outcomes.”
Held from August 4–22 at the City Library, Wuse, the programme featured ICT training, spelling bees, poetry, reading contests, and motivational talks.
Director Dr. Neemat Abdulrahim said the initiative equips children with skills, values, and discipline while curbing negative habits. Parents and participants praised the programme’s impact, with prizes awarded to winners at the colourful closing ceremony.
