The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kuje Area Council has kickstarted its campaign for the forthcoming FCT council elections by issuing Certificates of Return to its councillorship candidates.
The certificates were presented on Friday at the party’s Kuje secretariat by Chairman Ibrahim Adamu, who charged the candidates to hit the campaign trail immediately and win grassroots support across their wards.
Adamu described the elections as a tough battle and called on APC members to stand united and back the party’s flagbearers fully.
APC’s chairmanship candidate, Samuel Danjuma Shekwolo, urged the councillorship hopefuls to go beyond internal circles and reach out to opposition supporters. “Winning elections is about numbers. We must build bridges and win hearts to succeed,” he said.
Supporters and stakeholders present at the event expressed strong confidence in the party’s chances, stressing that unity and strategic outreach would deliver victory at the polls.
