FCT Minister, Barr. Nyesom Wike, has urged the contractor handling the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal office complex to ensure the project is completed by September 2025.
Wike gave the directive during an inspection visit to the site in Dakibiyu, Jabi District, on Wednesday, July 23, expressing concern over the slow pace of work.
“I’m very worried, but the contractor insists the job will be ready by September,” he told reporters.
Responding to the contractor’s request for “enough funding,” Wike dismissed the term as vague, stating, “No funds are ever enough. You promised delivery by September. I promised payment next week. Let’s stick to that.”
The Minister was accompanied by FCDA Executive Secretary, Engr. Richard Dauda, and other FCTA officials during the visit.
