
MTN Donates 600 Tablets to FCT Schools, Minister Promises Better Digital Learning
The FCT Minister of State, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud, has assured that the administration is committed to improving public schools and promoting digital learning.
She spoke during the handover of 600 learning tablets donated by MTN Nigeria to 12 government secondary schools in the FCT.
Represented by her aide, Tpl. Michael Bawa, the Minister said the tablets will help students learn better in today’s tech-driven world. She praised MTN for supporting education and aligning with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which promotes access to quality, digital education.
MTN Board Chairman, Dr. Ernest Ndukwe, said the company is distributing 4,600 tablets nationwide to help students across Nigeria.
Also speaking, Dr. Danlami Hayyo, represented by Dr. Kolawole Olabashola, said the donation will help FCT schools compete with others globally.

- GSS Tunga-Maje
- GDSS Wuse II
- GGSS Dukpa
- GSS Pegi
- GSS Airport
- GSS Garki
- GSS Gosa
- GSS Gwagwalada
- GDSS Dutse-Alhaji
The tablets are expected to boost digital learning and improve student performance across the FCT.
