Residents and traditional leaders across Bwari Area Council have unanimously praised FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for his transformative infrastructure development and inclusive governance approach, describing his leadership as bringing “visible progress” to the territory.

In an unprecedented show of unity, community representatives from all ten political wards including Bwari Central, Kubwa, Dutse Alhaji, and seven others commended Wike’s grassroots development focus. They called the minister a “Godsend” whose impact transcends political, religious, and ethnic boundaries.

“Minister Wike has changed the story of our communities,” a community leader stated, highlighting improvements in road rehabilitation, school upgrades, and healthcare services where previous administrations had failed.

Key projects earning praise include the ongoing construction of Bwari-Gurara and Bwari-Igu roads long neglected routes expected to boost transportation, social service access, and economic activity.

The community’s endorsement has generated political momentum, with residents rallying behind grassroots advocate Hassan Musa Mohammed for Chairman in upcoming Area Council elections. Supporters believe Mohammed represents the same development-focused, inclusive leadership style as Wike.

“Hassan is young, visionary, and deeply connected to our communities,” said Fatima Abdullahi of Kuduru ward. “We need leaders who understand our struggles and can build on the strong foundation Wike has laid.”

Given Bwari’s strategic importance housing the Nigerian Law School, JAMB Headquarters, Veritas University, and Usuma Dam residents argue the area deserves consistent investment and people-centered leadership.

The developments reflect growing political consciousness in Bwari centered on performance, unity, and tangible results.
